Hello! My name is Brittanie! I am a Franklin native. Grassland Day School holds a special place in my heart. I grew up attending Grassland Heights Baptist Church as a child, and my 3 girls have been part of the GDS Program.
I attended the University of Tennessee. I met the love of my life Lucas in 2012 while on vacation at Seagrove Beach, Florida! Now, we reside in Grassland and love being part of the community. I love the beach, gardening, diy projects, healthy foods, and spending time with my family.
I’m grateful to be part of the GDS Staff teaching the 1s class. It is such an adventurous and joyful age to share with your children! As a parent, I know how important it is to know your child is in safe hands and being nurtured. I love giving that gift to families! Thank you for entrusting me with your precious children!

I am a native San Franciscan. I have 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. I moved to Franklin, TN in 1999 to be near family who have since relocated to Florida, North Carolina and Boston. I am a retired hairdresser and “lunch lady” from Williamson County Schools. Teaching one year olds at Grassland Day School is not a job, it is a delight and ministry that fills my heart.
